| The Black Diamond LiveWire Anodized Carabiner is back and better than ever. The redesigned LiveWire was created for fast and easy clipping—regardless of which way the biner is facing or which way it's clipped. Traditionally used as a ‘rope end' biner, the LiveWire has a clipping bump on its spine that provides climbers with in-hand control while clipping. The LiveWire also has a slight curve in its spine, keeping the body relatively narrow with a large basket area for easy index clips and a wide gate opening. The Black Diamond LiveWire also has large rope-bearing radius which reduces rope wear and a hooded nose that prevents its wire gate from being rubbed open. Like all wiregate biners, the LiveWire resists gate whiplash and is less prone to freezing up on ice climbs. -Vendor |
