versatile, comfortable pack!
Because I am a smaller woman, I tried on so many backpacks before I tried this one, which was the most comfortable of them all. The 1600cu in space was enough to hold everything I needed to do a 22-mile day hike (Mt Whitney). Also, this pack has nice design details, like soft fabric for the shoulder straps, and a little pocket for stowing the mouthpiece so that it doesn't get dirty. The side pockets are roomy enough to hold additional water bottles.
