Excellent pack for day hikes and overnighters
This is an excellent pack for day hiking or an overnighter. The waist support is large enough to prevent hotspots and does a nice job supporting the weight of the pack. I compared it to the CamelBak Transalp. Both packs are very nice, however, I believe the smaller waist belt on the Transalp makes it more suitable for biking and using it as a tote for carrying gear when traveling and commuting. Both are great packs. I think they are designed for different applications. My choice for hiking and backpacking is the Peakbagger.
