Awesome hiking sandal...
I bought these sandals due to a foot condiiton that was causing me a lot of pain on the trail. It took me a little while to build up some ankle strength but then these sandals became my only hiking shoe. I have hiked over 1000 miles on the Appalachian Mountains in these wonderful sandals. The molded foot bed has wonderful support. It is amazing how much of a beating my Chacos' straps have taken and are still in one piece. Any other sandal would have been history by now. -- I bought a "knock off" brand but could tell within hours that they were not the same. Gifted them to my daughter and bought myself another pair of the "real Chacos". I now have 3 pairs. One for hiking with the upgraded sole and a couple of other colors for around town. It takes a while to figure out how to adjust them but after the learning curve they are fabulous sandals.
Maybe a great sandal but not for everyone.
I was in the market for a great pair of sandals I could wear all day while travelling. I heard great reviews about the Chaco's and was keen to give them a try. They were a good looking sandal with a great adjusting strap system but those would be the only things going for them for me. The foot-bed is very uncomfortable (I thought my sandals might be defective) and the straps tore at my achilles. My feet have never peeled or hurt so much and the arch was not suitable for my feet. Needless to say, I won't be buying anymore Chaco's.

I have high arches and the Chaco sandal offers a lot of support. the z/1 can be used with socks so can you can wear it all winter!

I think your company and service is great! The prices are competitive as well. So far I have worn the sandals about four times. I took them to my podiatrist to see what he thought before wearing, and he ordered himself a pair! They seem to have high arches to me, and feel funny as I wear them, however my feet feel wonderful after the end of the day and I remove them. I don't get cramps in my feet at night (which is one of the reasons they were recommended to me). But, when I try to wear them more than one day in a row, I feel like my arches are sore. I would like to be able to wear them on a daily basis, but haven't gotten to that point yet. Thank you for your wonderful service! I have recommended your company to friends, and the podiatrist!
Chaco Terreno Sandal Review
Give these sandals 2 weeks to completely break in. They adjust well; you just have to learn how to make that work for you. They are by far the best sandals I have ever owned. I wear them for everything from river rafting to basketball to bike rides. They go great with jeans or shorts. These will be a favorite for a long time! I highly recommend them.
