Z/2 Terreno Sandal - Women's
The Chaco Z/2 Terreno Sandal is perhaps the most secure sandal on the planet. Its Terreno outsole, thanks to its 8 mm thickness and deep lugs, is ideal for activities that demand an extra measure of traction and comfort such as light hiking, traveling, and long-distance walking. The Z/2 strap configuration offers an adjustable toe loop that adds an extra measure of security to your forefoot, making them incredibly stable. Whether you're pounding pavement all day or you just want a great pair of sturdy, comfortable sandals, the Z/2 Terreno is the call.

Chaco Z/2 Terreno Sandal - Women's

Bottom Line: Arguably the most stable sandals on the planet for activities that demand an extra measure of traction and comfort (think lots of walking).

Reviews:

z/2 women's terreno's
I love my z/2 terreno's! I already have the z/1 but I love these more! The toe strap doesn't bother me at all and I think it looks a little dressier with more straps. I used them for a overnight trip right away and had no problems with them chafing anywhere. I wear them teaching all day and my feet and legs never get tired.

Not such a wonderful experience
I bought these sandals after hearing such rave reviews regarding their fit and versatility. Unfortunately, I have not had such a wonderful experience. I have noticed that my big toe rubs against the rubber soles and my feet seem to slip inside the shoes all the time...ouch! I have tried a number of times to adjust the straps to no avail(too many to count)...yet,I always end up with blisters and slightly swollen feet. I have not given up on these sandals yet but, I have been wearing them for a month and they're really just an annoyance (I keep trying, since they were not cheap).

Z/2 Terreno
They are in Europe with my daughter as her primary daily shoe. Recently also bought a men's pair for myself (Colorado). I found them to be comfortable immediately with no strap rubs/raw spots like some Teva knock-offs that I've had before.

great sandals
I've found that these sandals are everything that they are advertised to be. You can work with them easily to adjust them to your foot. My big toes were sore from the straps around them after a few hours of rock climbing...but that was because my feet had to get acclimated to the new sandal. The straps around the toe I found to be one of the best feature...my foot stayed in the sandal and didn't slide one bit, even when I was climbing down a very steep rock. The shoes have exceptional traction...I didn't slip hardly at all on even smooth rocks. I have very high arches and my feet were well supported. I am very glad I spent the money on these sandals, they are worth it. I'm getting a pair for my husband as well! The only trouble I had was deciding a size without trying them on in the store (since I had to buy them online). I am a size 7 1/2 and the sandals didn't come in half sizes...I found a 7 did quite well...the 8 was too big.

Best footwear I've ever owned
I bought these specifically for extreme NC waterfall hiking/wet bouldering, after nothing else worked. I had tried every other sandal made, aqua shoes, keeping my boots on, etc and would usually end up barefoot. The support and traction of my Z2s on wet rock is phenomenal. There was a definite break-in period, learning what adjustment worked best for me. Now I'm spoiled - I can't keep them off my feet no matter where I am or what I'm doing. Recently learned that a friend did over 800 miles on the AT in his Z2s and they're still going strong. These things are amazing - get some!
