Chalkboy Bouldering Bag
The Franklin Climbing Chalkboy is the ideal grab-and-go bouldering or climbing gym bag. External mesh pockets are designed to hold 1 to 2 pairs of climbing shoes for easy access and plenty of ventilation so they don't turn rank like your last pair. Two zip pockets keep your wallet, keys, phone, snacks, and other goodies secure. Side toothbrush holders insure you always have one handy; trust us, you'll need that brush because the main, fleece-lined, zip compartment on this bad boy is designed to hold up to a full box of chalk. Holy white cliffs of Dover, Batman! That's a lot.

Bottom Line: Keep it easy with the Chalkboy.

Reviews:

pretty nice despite the advertisement's twisted perspective of the universe
I just bought this and it feels really good on the inside. I immediately filled it with a 10g bag of chalk, threw in a roll of tape, a Clif Bar and tried to wedge my shoes in. I wear a US size 11 and one shoe fits in each mesh pocket, the advertisement must assume that the climber has little girlie feet or something, because 2 regular-size human pair of climbing shoes will not fit in here. One thing I don't like about this bag is that the main pocket closes with a zipper - it's not awful, I've just never seen anything that holds a powder close with a zipper. It is also not big enough to hold any water, which means this will not replace the bag you bring to the rocks with you. In summary, it's bigger than I imagined, but it's still too small to be your "only" bag, and too big to be you’re "other" bag.

Very nice
I like the way you could carry all that chalk and a pair of shoes (it would be impossible to fit 2 pairs, by the way, as described) in one compact bag. There are two zippered pockets w/c work well for keys, chocolate bars, wallet, etc. It's pretty good when bouldering in the gym. I haven't used it outside yet, although I don't think it would be any different outdoors. It's a pretty good chalk bucket alternative.

Too Small
The Chalkboy Bouldering Bag is extremely too small for your bouldering gear. It was all I could do to place my shoes in the external mesh pockets. The concept is great, it just needs to be a little bigger.
