Granite Gear Aquatherm

$14.95

Buy Aquatherm at Backcountry

Aquatherm
The Granite Gear Aquatherm is an insulated bag which completely surrounds a standard 32 ounce Nalgene bottle with 1/2" foam and a reflective insulation material. These sacks help prevent water from freezing while winter camping or mountaineering. They also work great for keeping drinks hot in the winter and cold in the summer. A daisy chain allows easy attachment to your pack. It has a draw-cord opening with an inner insulated lid. ALSO EXCELLENT AS AN INEXPENSIVE & SECURE TELEPHOTO LENS CARRIER. DOES NOT INCLUDE WATER BOTTLE. COMES IN ASSORTED COLORS. WE'LL SURPRISE YA!

Granite Gear Aquatherm

Bottom Line: Little extras like these make your backcountry adventure better.

Reviews:

Bulky, but versatile
I used my Aquatherm on a recent ski trip. I put hot choclate in a Nalgene bottle, (which microwaved with no problem), and put it in the Aquatherm in my backpack and skiied for a couple of hours. The hot choclate was still fairly warm, but not hot. This was better than I expected. The Aquatherm was bulky in the backpack, which was also to be expected. I found another great use for it, however, keeping a digital camera safe in the backpack while snowboarding. On the trip home the aquatherm kept two canned drinks cold several hours and kept me from having to stop and access the cooler.I think it will work great to keep water cold this summer at the baseball park.
