Reviews:

More than a weekender
I bought the Deva 60 about a year ago, and so far it has been great. I am a small person (4'10.5"; 85 lbs) so I have to adjust the weight that I can carry accordingly. I especially like the keyring featured in the top pocket, the easy access to the sleeping bag compartment, the sleeping pad straps, and the excellent compression system this pack has to offer. One drawback is that whenever I open the top pocket or either of the side pockets, everything falls out almost immediately. Also, the canted water bottle holder is nice for getting your bottle out, but slipping it back in is still tricky. Bottom Line: If you're small like me and are looking for a weeklong pack, ignore the "weekend" status of this pack. I have travelled South America for two weeks with plenty of room. Good luck shopping!

Good pack
Overall the Gregory Deva 60 is a great pack. It’s very lightweight and fits comfortably. It has numerous ways to adjust it to fit perfectly. It’s also made very well and allows storage of numerous items for a short hike versus a long trek. The only issue I see is the so-called sleeping bag compartment. There is no way a sleeping bag will fit in the compartment, even with a compression sack. One would have to place the sleeping bag in the main compartment of the pack thus not leaving much room for the rest of the gear. For this pack, you will have to learn to pack fairly light for long treks.

Deva 60
I love this backpack. I didn't know how bad I had it with my old backpack until I wore this a couple of weeks ago for the first time. It fits a woman's shape and it is comfy!! It also has lots of room in the main part and big pockets for more gear!! I can't say enough good things about the DEVA!!

First time backpacker learns how to pack
I absolutely LOVE this pack. I'm especially fond of the Deva because of my small frame. When first searching for a pack I couldn't find too many to fit my 15" torso measurement, but this one fits like a glove. After backpacking in the desert of Arizona and the wilderness of Utah for about 2 weeks, I learned that having a smaller pack to fit my frame means packing ONLY essential items - no extras.

Great overnight technical backpack
This a is a wonderful backpack and one of the few that fits my small frame. Extremely durable and well made, my only complaints are the weight and capacity. I had to get the XS which only holds 3200cu in and it's barely enough room for a weekend and I somehow crammed 38 pounds (including 100oz of water). The pack carries a full load well. All in all a good pack, but not if you're looking for lightweight as the XS weighs in at about 4 1/2 pounds.
