| The G12 New Classic is a traditional 12-point crampon designed for general mountaineering, alpinism, mixed climbing, and moderate waterfall routes. What distinguishes the New Classic from other crampons is its utter versatility. It is compatible with just about any kind of shoe or boot you can stick on your foot (from sneakers to Sorels with the exception of a tele boot; for tele boot crampons see instead the G14 Crampomatic, the G10 Wide). The four points that are perpendicular to the crampon rails prevent shearing in soft snow and improve security while descending (facing outward). The crampons are fully adjustable by hand, without tools and one size fits all. G12 folds easily for transport. |
