great bag for young ones
I bought this bag for my 6-year-old daughter who's in the 1st grade. Works nice for her. If you have an older child; maybe you would need a bigger bag.
Madison Sling Bag
The Madison is a comfortable carryon or city bag. Stays in place and carries well with light loads. Lighter weight nylon along with hook and loop strap connection may be a concern with heavy use.

Commuting to NYC from NJ with this bag. It has a handy cell phone pouch and the other front pouch works well for my train tix, metrocard plus my keys, and palm pilot. It’s a comfortable bag.
