Life-Link Snow Saw

$39.95

Buy Snow Saw at Backcountry

Snow Saw
The Life-Link Snow Saw is great for cutting blocks or digging snow pits. The design reduces skating on ice and packed snow, while the length is designed for optimum block size and ease of packing. The giant Cross Cut teeth cut smoothly on the pull and push. The Snow Saw has a pistol grip with a rubber sleeve for insulation and comfort. The one-piece design comes with a blade protector. -Vendor

Life-Link Snow Saw

Bottom Line: Perfect pits let you easily examine snow conditions.

Reviews:

Bomber Saw
Don't trust shovel saws, as they are too flexible and short for cutting columns in the snow pack. Basically they are about as useful as a ski pole. Plus, it needs to be attached to the shovel handle in order to use it. This leaves you without a shovel for testing and shaping your snowpit. Bottom Line-Go with the independent snow saw. It's not heavy, and allows you to work much faster in the backcountry.
