| The Lowa Renegade II GTX MID is a mid-height all terrain and all weather boot sheathed in lovely water-repellent nubuck leather with Cordura around the ankle. Part of Lowa's All Terrain Collection, these boots are great for backpacking with moderate loads as well as day hiking through varied terrain and weather. The Renegade II GTX Mid's provide outstanding climate & moisture control with a waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex lining. The insole also keeps the foot dry by using the natural pump action of walking to force water vapor out of the shoe. A beefy Vibram sole designed exclusively for Lowa will keep you as sure footed as a mountain goat on rough terrain. These boots wear comfortably for the long haul thanks to an injected PU mid-sole, with the stability & support of a ¾ shank all the while. THIS BOOT RUNS LARGE. Worth every cent you paid for it!
This boots are amazing. Very light and comfortable, I felt like I was walking on clouds, when I really was walking on a hard, stony, rough terrain. When I got in the heavy cold rain for 2 hours, the only part of my body that was still warm and dry were my feet. Not a drop of water made it through, and I actually had to walk through the shallow streams. My socks got a little wet at the top though, from water pouring into the boot. And, finally, this boots look great, which may not be important for some people, but definitely is for me! I was a little hesitant to pay $170 for them, but now, do not regret a single cent.

Love the boot. My friend and I went hiking in Zion National park. My hiking boot was light on my feet which was great when you hike for 11 miles.

Really great boot. Very little (if any) break-in time. It’s comfortable and waterproof. So glad I splurged and bought them!!!
