8000M Pant - Men's
The Marmot 8000 Meter Pant is a fully-baffled expedition pant designed to help you survive the coldest conditions on the planet. With its guaranteed minimum 800 fill power goose down insulation, the 8000 Meter Pant is the coat of choice for Himalayan summit attempts and surviving Antarctic winters alike. The down is compartmentalized by baffles, which prevents cold spots common in sewn-through insulated garments. Use the pant in combination with the 8000 Meter Parka [MAR0233] for the ultimate cold weather outfit. Marmot's DryLoft shell is windproof, highly water resistant, breathable, and is super light and pliable to allow the premium down to fully loft. Adjustable suspenders and a waist snap closure keep everything where it's supposed to be. Further keeping the elements at bay is a down-filled draft tube over the zipper and an insulated kidney panel to maintain your core warmth in sub-zero conditions. When things warm up a bit though, full-length side zips allow you to vent heat to your heart's content. Abrasion-resistant panels in the seat and knees ensure you won't lose vital insulation from tears and freeze to death, which is a nice thing, really. Marmot provides a nice touch with an included stuff sac—pack your pants away just like a sleeping bag.

Marmot 8000M Pant - Men's

Bottom Line: The warmest insulation money can buy for the coldest conditions on the planet—literally.

Marmot 8000M Pants
If you are going to go with tops and bottoms instead of a one-piece suit, these pants are the way to go. On Denali we had pretty fair weather and were on and off the mountain in 14 days. Now I have to cook up another adventure to put these fine pants to the test.
