| The Marmot Helium EQ Sleeping Bag, made from ultra-lightweight Pertex EQ fabric, is windproof, weather resistant. The EQ is just the ticket for when space is at a minimum. Helium EQ, made from the lightest waterproof-breathable fabric available, has a draft tube (along the zipper) to keep chilly breezes out while you're snuggled in. 900-fill is the best weight-to-warmth ratio down on the market and was independently tested and certified by the International Down and Feather Laboratory in Salt Lake City. Marmot retested it at fill time at their Santa Rosa headquarters to ensure 900 fill power every time. Helium comes in regular and tall sizes so you get the fit you need to stay warm and comfortable. A Velcro®-free face muff keeps draw cords and zipper pulls off your skin without the irritation of unclosed Velcro® tabs poking you. Rated to 15 degrees, this bag is your choice for adventures—like self-supported kayak trips—where every item is evaluated for its space and weight. |

Reviews:
Awesome This sleeping bag is the best. On a trip into the Santa Fe Wilderness, this sleeping bag kept me warm on several nights where the temperatures dropped below freezing. I slept in a t-shirt and skivies and was toasty throughout the night. It also kept dry after heavy condensation (due to poor tent set up) soaked everything else in the tent. My only complaint is that they smell funny; however, my girlfriend (who also owns one) doesn't agree.--You decide. If you want something lite, packable, and awesome (and don't mind the price), this is definitely a great buy.
Great Sleeping Bag This is a great, though pricey sleeping bag. It has amazing loft (which can be a pain when trying to stuff) and packs down to a manageable size (the weight to cold protection ratio is great). I haven't used it in 15 degree weather yet, but so far it has kept me comfortable while camping in cooler climes.
Marmot Helium Down bag I purchased the Helium due to its light weight and how small it is when compressed. All I can say is, "WOW". I used it recently on a ten-day trip in Colorado's West Elk Wilderness Area tent camping at 11,600ft. Temperatures dipped into the high teens and the bag was nice and toasty. I think it would be comfortable even below the 15F rating. I bought the EQ waterproof version for added insurance. Awesome bag.
