I hate hoods
As the title says, you get the point. That is why this hat made my day. I'm moving from Montana (dry) to England (wet) and knowing the conditions I would be in, I went rain gear shopping. This hat is 100% waterproof and breaths better than my jacket (from what I can tell). I also use it when it's not raining when I'm out running biking or climbing just to keep the sun out of my eyes. This hat is a great move for those of us who wear glasses. Keeping the lenses dry is always key to being able to function outdoors. GO MARMOT!

I own a pressure washing company and have been using the precip hats to keep our heads dry while working and they have been doing a great job!
The best baseball style cap you can buy
Cotton hats are just too hot for sun protection in the summer. Nylon is the way to go. As a waterproof hat, the Precip may not be the coolest temperature wise. You still sweat around band. But it keeps its shape very well, fits and looks great. And when it does rain, it is much more comfortable to me than a hood. So I give it an A+. Could use better color selection.Marshall
