| The Mountain Hardwear WindStopper Tech Jacket, by now a classic, is the windproof piece you want for touring, track skiing, mountain biking or whatever high output sport you do in winter. Its Gore WindStopper membrane keeps you warm with little weight relative to other fleece jackets, and has a huge comfort range due to its excellent breathability. As you make your final push for the peak, breaking a sweat, a moisture-managing mesh lining helps to keep you dry on the inside. Its flattering women's cut won't bind up and helps maintain contact for maximum moisture wicking. With other features like extra-long pit zips for extra venting, zippered hand and security pockets, and reinforcements in high-abrasion areas, the WindStopper Tech will quickly become one of your indispensable jackets. Great jacket for those bone chilling autumn winds of the northeast. When the snow comes, use it as a midlayer and throw a shell on over it. |

Reviews:
Awesome layer I bought the Tech Jacket for my wife after I'd had mine for a couple of weeks. Kept me warm in -5 degrees with only a thin underlayer. Phenomenal wind protection without the bulk.
windstopper is the topper This is a pretty nice jacket. Not only is it flattering, it's technically nice. The seams are all very nicely sewn and Mountain Hardwear put in the pit zips which I love. Where I hike, it is very windy. The Gore Windstopper does its job fantastically. Then once I get moving, I start to really heat up and the pit zips really work wonders. This jacket allows freedom of movement and is so nice and light. I really love it. The colors are nice too. Not that anyone really sees you out there in the wilderness, but I wear it around town and it really looks great. I also wear it to casual functions. Nice jacket that I really like almost as much as my Arcteryx Gamma SV.
Great Jacket I researched windproof jackets for over six months before purchasing the Mountain Hardware Windstopper. It blocks the wind and is a great insulator. The pockets are a little high for my liking. I love the pit zips and the cool left arm zippered pocket. I have been warm down to 15 degrees. Great value!
