The Swiss Mountains on Denali Lightning
Denali Lightning Ascent (Women's edition) are superbly light, can be easliy fixed even with moderatly thick gloves and don't slip even on hard snow. They remain firmly on the foot even in difficult or steep areas.The womens' model is 2 cm (0.8in) narrower and imposes less of a John-Wayne walking style on the wearer.We have used them in powder snow (which, in Switzerland, is not quite as fluffy as in the US or Canada), on groomed ski tracks and on hard snow with equal success. Their shape prevents stepping on the other foot's snow shoe most of the time.Expensive but great equipment !
