Delta PU watch
Nice fit. Altimeter works goods, displays graph and tracks vertical feet skied each day. Solid construction. Only concern = if the wrist band ever needs replacing will have to order from Nixon since a universal band will not fit watch.
good watch , could be better
I recived the delta watch a little over 2 months ago. Overall I am very happy with it. Very sturdy construction. I like the reverse screen. The band is over an inch wide and thick. I don't think you will break this band easily. after setting your base elevation it is spot on. Things that could be improved. This sucker is big, the case is about a 1/2 inch thick. It's also really heavy, it took me about 2 days to get used to it on my wrist. The weather forcast is useless, can't get mine to say anything but cloudy. I am in the desert, no clouds! To get the temp to read right you have to leave the watch off for a while. Other then that I am very pleased with it. It looks good and gives you the alt. traveled in a graph, the reason I bought it . backcountry was great and order arrived on time.
Sweet Deal Delta
The Delta has been sweet in every way. The size is larger than expected but has been easy to adjust too. For an altimeter watch the size is actually very normal. The funtions are easy to learn and this thing does it all. So far I've been way stoked on this watch and I don't think that will change. The look of the watch is just as smooth as all the stuff it can do. The white on black digital display is unique. I constantly recieve compliments on the look of the watch. At $200 this watch is well worth the money and a deal as compared to other altimeter watches.
CRAP!
If ever a watch was made to be useless, then this is the watch. Its heavy buttons are quite hard to push, and the weather section only shows cloudy all the time, I have the new Highgear watch Alterra and this watch is a beaut compared to the Delta. My advice: shop around.
