| Hear that sound? It's the horizon calling you. Time to hitch up your Aether 75 and spend the weekend chasing it. Fortunatly, the Aether 75 is so light for its capacity and level of support that you just might catch the horizon on your hiking or light mountaineering trip. If you really need to move, you can detach the hip belt and top pocket to transform them into a hydration-ready hip pack (cool transforming noise not included.) When that wily horizon evades your grasp again, the sleeping bag compartment, mesh pockets, and generous storage space make sure you can have camp set up in time to shake your fist at the setting sun and yell, "I'll get you next time! Next time!" Osprey's Ethereal suspension system is the secret behind the Aether's lightweight yet comfortable design, and as a bonus it provides 3" of adjustment so you can get your pack dialed in exactly the way you like it. The Aether's straightjacket compression system will ensure that no matter what you take with you, you won't be tipping over backwards. |

Bottom Line: Get out there and eat up some distance with your Aether. |
Reviews:
Very Comfortable Pack At 6'6" I have found it most difficult to find a backpack that is comfortable. After trying out just about every high quality backpack (and within my price range) I settled on the Aether 75. It's 4500 cu in is more than enough space, its shoulder harnesses are snug without being constricting and fall properly on my shoulders and the hip belt is perfect. I found the price at backcountry.com to be the best in the nation. Much better than the national outdoor store that I tried the pack on at. The ease of ordering from this website is great.
Good bag I bought this bag for my husband. He likes it for the size, durability, and adjustability. The only downside is that there is no place for the hydration bladder he already owns.
Solid pack I just loaded this pack full and took it out to the Lost Coast for 3 nights and it was the most pleasurable experience I've ever had carrying a pack. It has great load distribution and once you have it adjusted properly it feels like a part of you instead of some extra weight that you just strapped on your back. It has plenty of room to stay out a week or more if you can handle packing light and you can bring your luxury items with ease if you're only going out for a weekend. Overall this is a great pack and this is a good place to buy it.
