| The Osprey Ariel 60 is the women's version of the award winning Aether 60. It features the Ethereal suspension, (but without framesheet and stay for weight reduction), women's IsoForm harness, shorter torso sizing and a built-in hipbelt specifically designed to fit the female hip structure. The total suspension weight of only 9.3 ounces belies the carry of these packs. However, Osprey hasn't skimped on details or durability. It's just not worth it to save a few ounces. Features include sleeping pad straps, large side mesh pockets, a Delrin® reinforced head cup, and an extendible lid and skirt to accommodate overloads. Ski and ice axe loops make the Ariel 60 an excellent lightweight winter pack as well. |
